Fondazione Bruno Kessler is looking for a Technologist in Knowledge and Project Management to join the Center for Sustainable Energy (SE).
The role focuses on the strategic development and coordinated management of research and innovation projects and research infrastructures, connecting project development and funding opportunities with research capabilities, knowledge valorisation and industrial collaboration.
What to expect
You will work closely with the Center’s leadership, research units, laboratory managers and administrative services, helping turn research results, expertise and project outcomes into new collaborations, funding opportunities and innovation activities. The role combines knowledge management and project management: you will support the dissemination and valorisation of research results, contribute to the development of new proposals and partnerships, and help coordinate research and innovation projects at national and European level. You will also contribute to the strategic communication of the Hydrogen Hub and to collaboration across the Center’s research units. The position is part of FBK’s Tenure Track programme, a structured career path leading to a permanent Third Level Technologist (T3) contract following a positive final assessment. The duration of the tenure track period will be defined by the Committee according to the assigned KPIs and the candidate’s profile. The position is full time, 38 hours per week, with an expected start date in December 2026. The workplace is between Trento and Rovereto. The gross annual salary is €47,182.01, plus an objectives achievement bonus. Benefits include flexi-time, subsidised cafeteria or meal vouchers, internal parking, supplementary pension and health fund, training opportunities, public transport and sport benefits, and Welcome Office support for visa formalities and accommodation.Position
The selected candidate will develop and implement knowledge management processes to capture, organise and share research outputs, expertise and lessons learned across the Center, in compliance with FBK’s Corruption Prevention and Transparency Unit requirements and ISO 9001. The role includes supporting the dissemination, exploitation and valorisation of research results in collaboration with researchers, industrial partners and FBK’s technology transfer services, as well as contributing to the strategic communication of the Hydrogen Hub. The selected candidate will maintain an updated overview of research capabilities, project results and strategic assets, promoting knowledge exchange across research units and identifying opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
The role also includes identifying relevant national and European funding opportunities and supporting proposal development, including partner engagement, work plans, budgets and expected impacts. The selected candidate will contribute to project management activities by coordinating timelines, deliverables and resources, monitoring progress, risks and dependencies, and supporting reporting and corrective actions in collaboration with scientific leaders and administrative services.
