The Research and Innovation Centre of Fondazione Edmund Mach has opened a selection procedure for Researchers and Technologists in the areas of Agrosystems and Bioeconomy, Biodiversity, Ecology and Environment, and Food and Nutrition. The procedure will create a list of up to 200 qualified candidates. From this list, FEM expects to activate approximately 30 fixed-term positions per year, depending on funding availability, project requirements and organisational needs.
What to expect
You will enter a multidisciplinary research environment focused on agriculture, ecosystems, biodiversity, food quality and nutrition, with activities that range from field trials and laboratory work to data analysis, modelling, technological development and international scientific collaboration. The call includes two profiles. Level IV positions are intended for early-career Researchers and Technologists with a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification. Level III positions are intended for candidates with a PhD and stronger scientific autonomy. Depending on the role, Researchers will contribute to the design and implementation of fundamental or applied research projects, publication of scientific results and participation in competitive funding initiatives. Technologists will support research activities through the design and management of laboratory protocols, data workflows, technological infrastructures, databases, instrumentation and complex analyses. The gross annual salary is €41,245 for Level IV positions and €47,182.01 for Level III positions. The positions are fixed term and will be activated according to funding availability, project needs and organisational requirements.Position
