Media System Lab is looking for a Product Specialist to join its Rovereto office, acting as a technical point of reference between the company and the scientific and industrial community. The role focuses on technical and application support for electron microscopy and sample preparation products, working closely with the sales team and the Marketing, Sales and Technical Support departments.
What to expect
You will act as a link between customers’ technical requirements and the solutions offered by the company, helping to identify the most suitable technologies for different application contexts. The role includes technical and application support, training for end users and participation in new product launches. You will report to the Sales Manager and work with the Marketing, Sales and Technical Support departments. The workplace is Rovereto. The contract includes an initial probationary period followed by permanent, full-time employment, under the CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria collective agreement. The gross annual salary starts from €30,000. Availability for short business trips within Italy is required.
Position
You will provide technical and application support to users of the company’s products, working alongside the sales team to identify the most suitable technological solutions for each customer’s requirements.
You will also organise training sessions for end users and take part in new product launches, coordinating with the Marketing, Sales and Technical Support departments.
Requirements
You should have:
- a Master’s degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, biology or a related scientific discipline;
- excellent written and spoken English;
- availability for short business trips within Italy;
- good communication skills and a problem-solving attitude.
Preferred qualifications
The following would be considered an advantage:
- previous experience in technical sales, application specialist or technical instrument support roles;
- practical knowledge of instruments such as TEM, SEM, ultramicrotomes and sputter coaters;
- a PhD.
