When you're considering a move for work, one of the most important questions is: what happens after? After the interview, after the contract, after your first day. Here in Trentino, that question has a real answer.
Because attracting talent is only the first step. What truly makes a difference is what a territory builds around its people, every single day.
What does "designing work" actually mean?
It means that companies in Trentino don't just hire — they rethink the way they're organized so that people genuinely want to stay. And they don't do it alone.
Trentino Sviluppo, the Employment Agency, and the Trentino for Talent program work together to provide businesses with tools, training, and hands-on support for better people management. This isn't theory: we're talking about workshops, targeted programs, and real guidance.
The goal is clear: making Trentino a place where your professional growth and your quality of life move forward together.
What is the Company Design Lab?
It's a workshop developed within the Trentino Innovation Academy, designed to help business leaders rethink the way work is organized. A hands-on program that tackles the most pressing topics in today's workplace: flexible working models, organizational wellbeing, and new forms of collaboration and innovation.
The first session is scheduled for April 14, 2026, at the Sala Formazione Orologio in Progetto Manifattura, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM, with Roberta Cuel — Professor of Organizational Design and Digital Transformation at the University of Trento and Chair of the Equal Opportunities Committee.
The format is intentionally small — 8 to 10 participants — because real interaction is at the heart of the experience.
Why should this matter to you?
Because when a territory invests in the quality of its organizations, you benefit directly. Clearer career development paths, meaningful work-life balance policies, environments that value people — not just roles.
If you're considering Trentino as the next step in your career, knowing that local companies are actively supported in building better workplaces is a signal worth paying attention to. It's not a slogan — it's a structural investment, born from an ongoing conversation between businesses, institutions, and the territory itself.
Does Trentino really invest in talent retention?
Yes. The Company Design Lab was born from listening to businesses: after a series of sessions on corporate welfare, AI-powered HR management, and employer branding, one thing became clear — it was time to move from awareness to action. This workshop is the answer.
And it's just one piece of a bigger picture. Here in Trentino, work isn't just an opportunity — it's a path that is nurtured, updated, and improved over time. Because we believe a territory grows when the people who live and work here grow too.
We're your guarantee of growth. And we prove it with action.
